Ngāti Tamainupō - Who We Are
Ka papā te whatitiri, ka hikohiko te uira
Rārunga ana mai o Pirongia maunga
He pourangi mātai ki ngā tai a Tamatāne
E papaki kau ana ki Kāwhia tāngata
Ki Aotea whenua, ki Whāingaroa moana
E ngunguru ana i te ao, i te pō
Ka ruu te pae ki tawhiti
Ka puta te hau āwhiowhio;
te hau pūkeri; te hau kāinga
Koia ko te hauāuru e kōtaratara ake nei
Ka rangaranga ki tai! Ka rangaranga ki uta!
Ka ranga’ ki Waipā honorua
ki Ngāhuinga ki Waikato Taniwharau!
Ka rangaranga ki runga! Ka rangaranga ki raro!
Ka ranga’ ki Taupiri maunga
Te okiokinga tapu o Tāhuna-ā-tara
Kōwhatu whakairo nō tuawhakarere
Ko te orokohanganga mai o te tāngata
E puta i te whei ao ki te ao marama!
